Mary Boatright graduated the University of California with a minor in Decorative Arts. She worked with varied media over the years, finally, now, settling in to painting gourds, drums and retablos. Upon seeing retablos, after moving to the Southwest, she knew this was something new she would like to do, and has been painting Saints and angels for the last several years.
