Geri Verble, jewelry design artist, developed a passion for tribal and ethnic beads and
pendants while working for the Peace Corps. Bead collecting not only became a passion,
but a journey in learning about the history of beads. Each bead and pendant tells its own
history and story.
Geri’s designs are inspired by ”Old World” beads and pendants that are woven into
jewelry that is in harmony with the earth and contemporary life. Ethiopian, Moroccan,
and Tibetan beads and pendants are her inspirations which are then designed and
created into one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. She enjoys designing unique pieces of
jewelry for her clients, using their favorite pendant or beads.
Geri’s work is represented at the ”Patio Gallery” in Old Town, Albuquerque. She is also
the First Vice-president of the New Mexico Bead Society. Tribal Bear Designs studio is
open by appointment only.
