About the Artist
ONCE UPON A TIME I thought bold, chunky and distinctive jewelry was out of my
league, being petite. Today I design and wear Artisan, Unique and Fun jewelry
dancing with life. Nature provides beautiful color and texture which I love and
enjoy wearing in all its glory. I have been making jewelry for the past 7 years now.
My style changes a lot, just like my hair styles. I am always looking down the road
and am easily influenced to try something new. I accept change very well in most
things. I cannot boast collage degrees, certificates or years of study abroad. I am a
simple Swedish girl with a gift for color, creativity and a zest to live life.
My family came to New Mexico 23 years ago and we made Placitas our home. We
are extreme gardeners with a wide variety of fruit trees, black berries, garlic,
regular garden vegetables and much, much more. We built our home and it took us
5 years. We built it with a water harvesting system. I home schooled our children
through the rough mid school years and they are now college degree holders with
exceptional jobs.
My other interests are Tole painting, wire wrapping, crafting galore, and making
pasta, baking, and sewing. I make elegant blossoms from hand cut Chiffon and
Satin and embellish everything from Bridal to Baby. You are welcome to visit my
