Bebe Marks has been a Placitas resident for over 20 years. Her specialty is landscape and wildlife photography. Bebe has a great love of the outdoors, exploration, and hiking. Many of her photos were taken out on the trail. Most of her photos are taken within the State of NM, and many in the Placitas area. Bebe’s mother was a professional artist. Her mother greatly influenced Bebe’s knowledge of composition, perspective, color and light. Her mother worked in many mediums, from collage, to sculpture, pen and ink to oil. Bebe is fond of saying that she grew up with the smell of oil paint and turpentine in her nostrils. Bebe is a self- taught photographer.
